This policy describes how The Slapidary (Rocks and Jewels LLC, “we”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or make a purchase from slapidary.rocks.

What we collect

• Order information: when you buy a stone, we collect your name, shipping address, email address, phone number (if provided), and details of what you ordered. We use this to fulfill your order, send order and shipping updates, and keep the records the tax man requires.
• Account information: if you create an account, we store your login email and order history so you can see past purchases.
• Device information: like most websites, our server and the services below automatically receive your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Stripe’s handling of your information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Advertising & analytics

We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel and product catalog integration, which shares browsing events on this site — such as pages viewed, items added to the bag, and purchases — with Meta. This lets us show our stones to people on Facebook and Instagram. Meta’s use of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy; you can adjust how Meta uses data about you at Meta Ad Preferences.

We do not run any other analytics or advertising trackers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your bag and checkout session working, and the Meta pixel cookie described above. Blocking cookies in your browser may prevent the bag and checkout from functioning.

What we don’t do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not send marketing email. The only emails you’ll get from us are about your order.
• We do not share your information with anyone except the service providers named above (Stripe, Meta, USPS for delivery) and as required by law.

Data retention

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes. If you’d like your account or personal information removed, email us and we’ll delete what we aren’t legally required to keep.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
